Alexus Bond

Alexus Bond joined Northern Economics, Inc. in September 2009. Her background is in shipping and transportation, with experience working in ports on the West coast. Alexus holds a Masters degree in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration from the University of Denver, and an undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. She first fell in love with Alaska while working in Dutch Harbor last winter and decided to make the state her home. Since moving to Anchorage this summer, she has spent all of her spare time enjoying the great outdoors, hiking and fly fishing whenever possible.

Alexus' answers to life's more important questions:

Great Escape: I want my next escape to be to Argentina. I want to drink great wine, eat fantastic steak, and ski in July.

Why Alaska: I love hiking at midnight in the summer, seeing bald eagles while I'm fly fishing and watching moose from my office window. Really, where else could I see someone walking their pet reindeer at lunch?

Curious About: All the places I haven't been. Yet.

Idea of Fun: Kayaking to Juneau.

Brain Candy: Red Bull, crossword puzzles and C-SPAN. Not necessarily together - or in that order.
