• Valuation services, DeLong Mountain Transportation System, project manager. Provided valuation and analysis of potential purchase of road and portsite used by Red Dog zinc mine.
• Valuation services, Matanuska-Susitna Borough Forest Inventory. Provided valuation of commercially operable timber, within context of current market and existing logging and manufacturing facilities.
• Project Coordinator, Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority Business Plan. Assisted with financial analysis, research and report writing and coordinated overall document integration of business plan and appendices. Made presentations to ANGDA’s board of directors.
• Contract project manager for Anchorage Soil and Water Conservation District’s Fuels Reduction program. Work includes program development, field sampling, GIS mapping integration, contract preparation and administration, and results reports.
• Project manager, researcher and author for study of vegetables prepared for the Alaska Farm Bureau Mat-Su Chapter. Included a market analysis of consumer preferences for fresh and frozen vegetables and a proposed business plan for marketing vegetables.
• Rural development opportunities, costs, and logistics of shipping and marketing domestic water supplies outside of Alaska. Identification and analysis of markets; specification of Alaska’s water export potential. Developed capital and operating costs, and pro forma financial statements.
• Project Manager, Matanuska-Susitna Borough, agricultural facility economic analysis. Provided financial analysis and variable assistance to Project Economics for Input-Output analysis.
• Project Manager and senior author, socio-economic analysis of proposed ferry between Anchorage and Port MacKenzie, Matanuska-Susitna Borough. Analyzed demographics, projected project area population, projected ridership and willingness to pay, and modeled market area.
• Project Manager and lead investigator for Municipality of Anchorage Convention Center Proposal Process. Conducted view, analysis and independent analysis of two proposals.
• Project Manager and principal investigator for Matanuska-Susitna Borough Asset Management Plan as related to its sand and gravel (earth materials) resources.
• Analyst, researcher, model designer, Port MacKenzie ferry feasibility study for Tryck, Nyman, Hayes as contractor to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
• Project Manager, researcher and author on the Nikiski Industrial Park feasibility study, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Community Economic and Development Division.

• Project Manager, financial analysis of timber losses for Cook Inlet Region Inc. The project was undertaken to assist with management of CIRI’s beetle-infested forests on the Kenai Peninsula.

Senior Forester, Project Manager, Network Administrator, IT Alaska Inc.

• Assisted State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, with forestry-related input on Mental Health Land Settlement
• Drafted, prepared and submitted portions of Oil Spill Contingency Plans for a major client on four North Slope oil fields
• Provided forest regeneration support, both field and office, for village corporation with active timber harvesting
• Network administrator from 1996 to 2001 with responsibility for first-tier user support, local area network and wide-area network concerns; achieved 99.99% network availability.
• Administered contractor quality control program for hazardous waste removal and remediation at Fort Richardson. HAZWOPER trained.
• Assisted a major private land owner with purchase proposal, required wood chip commodity analysis, world markets, using United Nations FAO web data
• Conducted statistical analysis (SPSS) on an oil spill database project for the State Department of Environmental Conservation
• Appraised timber as part of a project team working on a land exchange project near Ketchikan (White River)
